US Chess Discussion

Welcome! This blog has no connection with the USCF. It's a blog where I provide chess fans with general information about US Chess as well as the USCF. It's also a site where everyone can productively discuss or ask questions about various USCF issues! Your contributions and comments are welcome! PLEASE KEEP IT CIVIL & RESPECT OTHERS! Enjoy! All posts that do not meet this guideline will be deleted -- WIN WITH GRACE, LOSE WITH DIGNITY!(TM) --- 2006 Susan PolgarĀ©

Basic rules of this blog

I just changed the settings for this blog. Anonymous can no longer post.

Please understand that this blog is not just about the upcoming election. This is a forum to discuss, debate and exchange various ideas between people who care about chess.

Please respect each other and agree to disagree. All lies, misinformation or personal attacks will be deleted immediately. Please give each other proper and mutual respect.

We just lost one of the biggest supporters of the USCF today largely because of the unprofessionalism of some of the chess politicians. I am afraid that more damages will come. We have to fix it ASAP. Let's focus on finding the positive solutions instead of going over the same old nonsense.

Thanks you!

I disagree there. The other blog is a general interest blog; this is a political one. Casual users should be able to comment on a casual blog with a minimum of trouble.

Would someone invite other USCF members over here to discuss "real" USCF issues? This is a much more pleasant place to share ideas.
